Where do parasites actually come from?

Most people think parasites are an overseas problem, something you only pick up from travel or dodgy street food in India or Asia. After more than a decade working with clients, I can tell you is, sure you get them from these things and a long list of other things. (see below)
Parasites are everywhere, and you collect them from ordinary daily life.
If you are breathing, living and eating in the real world, it is very likely you have sitting in your body.
This is not meant to scare you. It is meant to connect the dots with how you have been feeling in your body and the parasite connection, because once you understand where they come from, you can do something about it.
The everyday ways you get parasites
Here are the common sources I see again and again with clients:
Pork and bacon, which are some of the most common carriers
Raw or undercooked seafood, like sushi, oysters and raw salmon
Pets that sleep on your bed or lick your face. (poo in the park)
Children, who bring them home from daycare and school
Person to person- shared bedding, towels, toilets, sex
Swimming pools, where parasites can survive the chlorine for weeks
Travel, including simple things like brushing your teeth with tap water
Tramping and drinking untreated water
Water
Soil and gardening
Other sneaky ways- flies, cockroaches, mosquitos can all be carriers
Contaminated surfaces

One of my clients picked up a parasite from brushing her teeth with tap water in a five star hotel in Dubai.
Not street food, not drinking a water bottle of tap water, not anything reckless. Just via a simple daily habit she didn't think about- a toothbrush. We so often miss how simple the exposure really is.
A clean, healthy life does not protect you from parasites.
This is the part people struggle with most. So many women tell me they eat well, they are hygienic and their life is clean, so surely they cannot have parasites.
Sherilyn put it perfectly, when she realised that if her healthy friend could have them, then she must have them too. That is the honest truth, in today's world, it is very hard not to be exposed. Listen to Sherilyn's full parasite experience here.
Why diet alone is not enough
People often ask if they can just eat their way to getting rid of parasites. Certain foods, like garlic, do make your body a less friendly place for parasites. But when you already carry a hefty load,
diet alone will not clear them.
You can keep them a little in check, but you cannot fully shift them without a proper approach. This is why I built my parasite program the way I did. It is not just about taking a few herbs. It is about supporting your drainage pathways, your liver and your lymph, so your body can safely clear what it has been carrying, (often for decades)
What to do with this information?
You do not need to panic. You get to get curious. If you have been picking up parasites from ordinary life, and most of us have, the good news is that your body can let them go with the right support.
That is exactly what my parasite program is built to help you do, step by step, with your own body showing you the proof.

Frequently asked questions
Can you get parasites from your pet?
Yes. Pets that sleep on your bed or lick your face are a very common source, especially cats and dogs in the family home. It does not mean you have to give up your pet, it just means regular programs makes sense. (we do this for our cats and dogs monthly, so it makes sense we would need to do it for ourselves as well.)
Do parasites survive chlorine in swimming pools?
Parasites can survive in chlorinated pool water for weeks, which is why swimming pools, especially ones used by lots of children, are a common source of exposure.
Can I have parasites if I live a clean, healthy life?
Yes. Eating well and being hygienic does not make you immune. In today's world, exposure comes from everyday things like food, pets, travel and water, so a healthy life does not rule parasites out.
